Privacy policy

Done by Sundown is operated by Web Crate LLC. Recurring home-service companies use it to schedule work, record what was done, and bill for it: lawn care, pet waste removal, pool service. If you are a customer, your information reached us because the company you hired entered it.

If you are a homeowner: your name, service address, mobile number, and any access notes your lawn company records (a gate latch, a dog). We keep the history of services performed at your address, what each visit cost, and whether it was paid. If your lawn company takes a photo of completed work, we store that photo.

If you work for a lawn care company: your name, mobile number, and role. Mobile number is how you sign in.

We do not collect location data, we do not track you across other websites, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on this service.

We never see or store full card numbers. Payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor, and a saved card is held by them under the account of the company that services your property, not ours. What we keep is a reference to that card and its last four digits, so they can tell which card is on file. Money moves from you to them directly; it does not pass through us.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties, and we never share them for marketing purposes. A number is disclosed only to the messaging carrier that delivers the text, and only in order to deliver it. This applies regardless of anything else in this policy.

We keep a dated record of when you agreed to receive texts, the exact wording you were read, and the date you asked us to stop if you later do. Reply STOP to any text to stop them. Receipts and payment links go by email instead when we cannot text you, and every email says who sent it and how to stop it. Full details of the messaging program.

Only three kinds of party, and each for one reason:

• The lawn care company you hired, who entered your details and performs the work.
• The companies that run parts of this service for us: card payment processing, text message and email delivery, sign-in for the people who work for your service company, and hosting for the software and the photos. Each receives only what it needs to do its job and may use it for nothing else.
• Law enforcement or a court, where we are legally required to.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Each lawn care company's data is isolated from every other company's at the database level, not merely filtered in the application. One company cannot read another's customers, jobs, photos, or payments.

Service and payment records are kept while your lawn company is a customer of ours and for as long afterwards as tax and dispute rules require. Consent records are kept permanently, including revocations. The record of when someone asked us to stop is the part that matters most.

Reply STOP to any text to stop messages to that number, or use the unsubscribe details in any email. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, contact the lawn care company you hired, or reach us directly using the details below and we will work with them.
