Text messages

Done by Sundown is software operated by Web Crate LLC. Local lawn care companies use it to run their routes and bill for completed work. Messages are sent on behalf of the lawn care company you hired, and every message names that company.

• A receipt after your yard is serviced, sometimes with a photo of the finished work.
• A secure link to save a card on file, if your lawn company asks for one.
• A payment link when there is no card on file, or a card was declined.
• A note when weather moves your service to a different day.

Roughly four or five messages a month. These are service and billing notifications only. We never send marketing messages, and your number is never used for promotions.

Your lawn company asks, separately, whether you want text messages — usually in person, after the work and the price are already agreed. Saying no changes nothing about your service. If you say yes, the operator reads you the following and records that you agreed. Your lawn company's name replaces the example name shown here:

You'll get a text with your receipt each time we finish your yard, a payment link if we don't have a card on file, and a note if weather moves your day. The operator then confirms:

I read the disclosure above to this customer, and they agreed to receive service and billing text messages from Dale's Lawn Care at the mobile number above. I understand no marketing messages may be sent to this number.

Agreeing to texts is optional. It is not a condition of receiving lawn service, and it is kept separate from any other agreement. We keep a dated record of every consent, including the exact wording you were read and when you were read it.

Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number. Reply HELP for contact information. Msg & data rates may apply.

Every message carries “Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” The first message to any number also carries “Msg & data rates may apply.”

Stopping texts does not cancel your service. Contact the company that services your property for that.

Agreeing to texts is optional, so plenty of customers never do. When we have no consent on record, no mobile number, or you have replied STOP, the same receipts and payment links go to the email address on your account instead. Nothing about your service changes either way.

Every email names the company that did the work and Web Crate LLC as the sender, gives our postal address, and tells you how to stop receiving them. We do not send marketing by email either.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties, and we never share them for marketing purposes. A number is disclosed only to the messaging carrier that delivers the text, and only in order to deliver it.
